CORNEAL TRANSPLANT REJECTION

A corneal graft is the replacement of damaged corneal tissue with healthy corneal tissue. Transplantation of both eyes corneas increase the risk of rejection. A person with corneal transplant rejection has symptoms like eye redness, eye pain, irritated eyes, light sensitive, impaired vision and asymptomatic in mild cases.
treatment:
topical steroids are used in milder cases and systemic steroids are used in severe cases.
